HOW TATEHUARI WAS BORN
Welcome to Tatehuari, I am Leea Rosa Ceceña SEO founder of the Huichol art brand TATEHUARI. Since I was a child, I have been passionate about design and crafts, especially that of my land, Tepic, Nayarit. That is why I decided to design decorative items for the home mixing the different craft techniques of Mexico with Huichol art. I hope you enjoy your experience with us and take a little piece of Mexico with you with its art and colors.
The inspiration
It is fascinating to find and work with new crafts, new materials and the fusion of various pieces to create something unique. Design in pewter and mix with beads or thread, make large-format pieces and transform beautiful places decorating hotels, houses, ranches, etc.
OUR TEAM
We work with all male and female artisans, but we focus above all on working with the most vulnerable population, which are single mothers and older adults, who find it difficult to find work in the city. That is why we take the pieces to his house (La sierra) many times and return for the finished work.
