It is a skull made of paper mache, lined with logwood wax and decorated with more than 10,000 bead crystals, making an explosion of colors and meanings of the Huichol culture.
intervened by the Wixarika community based on decoration in multicolored beads made by Huichol artists from the western Sierra Madre of the state of Nayarit. The work is made with glass "beads" of different colors glued together with wax that has been used particularly for this art, different symbols with different meanings are captured as a way of expression of the artists in the pieces.
